Dante-Freibad

Dante-Freibad has more swimming pools than any other outdoor pool in Munich. The Dante Freibad’s winter heated outdoor pools - the 50-meter stadium pool (around 27° C) and the adventure pool (around 30° C) with massage jets and flowing water torrent - are of course also available during the summer. The stadium’s 1000-seat stand is extremely popular with sun-worshipers.

The Dante-Freibad outdoor pool also has plenty to offer younger visitors. A smaller non-swimmers’ pool with slides and a children’s play area allow children to paddle and play to their heart’s content.

After enjoying a swim, you can sunbathe on an expansive lawn area, take a rest in the shade of mature trees or take part in a friendly match on the soccer pitch.

Or simply enjoy a light meal. The kiosk and beer garden offers a wide selection.

Opening times:
SWM’s outdoor pools are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the season and until 8 p.m. on warm days from May to August.

The stadium facilities at the Dantebad are open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and from 7 a.m. on Wednesdays (access via Postillonstraße 17).
