The green energy plan for Germany- 1) Price guarantee: The SWM price guarantee is a limited price guarantee that applies to all price components except for VAT and any new taxes, levies, or other additional charges or reductions imposed by the government. The stated duration of a limited price guarantee begins at the start of supply (see General Terms and Conditions).
Back to electricity plan - 2) Term: For an initial term of 12 months, the start of the initial term is determined by the date on which supply begins. Supply will commence no later than 12 months after the contract comes into effect. After the initial term has expired, the contract may be terminated at any time with one month's notice.
Back to electricity plan - 3) For M-Ökostrom, an amount of electricity corresponding to consumption is generated from renewable energy plants and fed into the power grid. This electricity comes 100 % from Germany, predominantly from plants owned by SWM or in which Stadtwerke München GmbH holds a stake. Proof is provided through the guarantees of origin with the German Environment Agency. In 2024, 100 % of the required guarantees of origin were covered by plants owned by Stadtwerke München GmbH or in which it holds a stake. We expect to achieve 100 % coverage again 2025.
Back to electricity plan - 4) For SWM's regional green electricity tariffs, an amount of electricity corresponding to consumption is generated in renewable energy plants in the Munich area and fed into the power grid. Proof is provided through the guarantees of origin for the entire amount of electricity corresponding to consumption, as well as regional certifications, with the German Environmental Agency.
Back to electricity plan - 5) For SWM's KlimaAktiv green electricity tariffs, an amount of electricity corresponding to consumption is generated in renewable energy plants and fed into the power grid. This electricity comes 100 % from plants in Germany owned by SWM or in which Stadtwerke München GmbH holds a stake. Proof is provided through the guarantees of origin with the German Environment Agency.
Back to electricity plan - 6) Term: For an initial contract term of up to 24 months, the start of the initial term is determined by the date on which the contract comes into effect.
The initial contract term ends at the same time as the limited price guarantee expires.
After the initial term has expired, the contract may be terminated at any time with one month's notice.
