Sauna at Westbad

Description

The M-Bäder’s flagship swimming pool is the only one to offer users free entry to the sauna as well as the swimming pool. Sauna-goers can affordably discover how sweating in the sauna and then cooling off strengthens the immune system and is also an excellent way to relax. If you are looking for more peace and quiet, you can open the body’s pores outside of the busy pool area in the separate sauna island.

Where wellness really is fun

Both the pool sauna area and sauna island ensure that young and old enjoy the sauna with a wide range of facilities. The Finnish sauna (around 95° C), sanarium (between 60 and 70° C) and steam bath (around 45° C), relaxation rooms and open-air terrace with plunge pool are all part of the ultramodern sauna facilities.

Like a walk along the coast

The highlight of the Westbad is the sauna island’s sea-climate cubicle. A beneficial room environment is created with saltstone. Such conditions are only otherwise found on the coast or in salt mines. The air enriched with trace elements and minerals pleasantly replenishes the skin with what the environment takes from it every day. The opportunity to enjoy pouring water over hot rocks in the saunas, massages and solariums complete Westbad’s wellness program. As a special service, healthy hot and cold drinks and snacks aimed at ensuring wellness are served in the sauna island.
