  M-Natur - your personal contribution to the environment

If you choose M-Natur in addition to one of our M-Strom offers, you will support our mutual contribution to saving the environment at an additional charge of 1.82 cents per kilowatt-hour (including tax), thus promoting the generation of electricity from regenerative energy sources with the building of new regenerative energy plants such as hydroelectric, landfill-gas, photovoltaic and wind-power plants.

  • M-Natur is fast and easy to obtain – simply complete the online registration form provided here.
  • Alternatively, you can also receive the M-Natur contract form per mail; simply order your contract form per e-mail at m-strom@swm.de.

 TÜV

  certification

You have confidence in us and we have high expectations of ourselves. Therefore each year we submit ourselves to external audit. As an energy accreditation organization recognized throughout Europe, the TÜV Süddeutschland (South German Transport Testing Federation) audits the M-Natur program to EE02 criteria. If we fulfill these criteria we are awarded the TÜV certificate.

  M-Natur – complete success for the environment

Around 14,000 residential and business customers have already chosen M-Natur. In total, since the start of the M-Natur program in 1999.
The first M-Natur projects have already been implemented in the last two years with investments totaling up to approximately 600,000 Euros. Photovoltaic systems with an overall capacity of 72 kWp have been set up on the roof of the multi-storey car park at Widmannstraße, on the roof of the business park of the Munich City Renovation Society (MGS) at Haager Straße and on the front of the cultural center ‘Pasinger Fabrik’. Alongside additional photovoltaic projects with an overall capacity of 100 kWp – the Giesing business park, the multi-storey car park at Munich Messe (trade fair) in Riem – there are some new smaller hydro-electric power plants being planned.
